Hushdesk plans and monthly limits
Compare Free, Starter, Growth and Scale: monthly price, conversation and AI caps, what each plan includes, and why every plan has unlimited seats.

Hushdesk has four flat plans. Each one includes a number of conversations and AI answers per month, with unlimited seats. Nothing upgrades by itself: we tell you at 80 % and you decide.
Before you start
- Who can see this: everyone can see the plan and the meters. Owners and admins can change the plan.
- Where: Home (the Your plan card) and Settings > Plan and billing.

- Open Settings and choose Plan and billing.
- Read Current plan at the top: the plan name, price, and how it is paid.
- Under This month, read the Conversations and AI resolutions meters.
- Under Plans, compare the four plan cards. Switch Monthly and Yearly · 2 months free to see both prices.

What counts
- Conversations: the billing page says "Spam, bots and auto-closed tickets are never counted."
- AI answers: answers the AI agent sends to customers by itself. Drafts a person sends do not count. See AI limits and monthly AI caps.
Today the product enforces the monthly AI cap. The other plan differences in the table describe what each plan includes; see What happens at your limits for what is enforced and what is still coming.
Tips
- Seats are unlimited, so give every person their own login instead of sharing one.
- Yearly billing gives two months free if you know you will stay on a plan.
- Each workspace has its own plan. See Billing for several workspaces.

Troubleshooting
"Only owners and admins can change the plan."
The plan cards are read-only for agents and viewers. Ask an owner or admin.
"Yearly billing is not available for this plan yet. Pick monthly."
That plan cannot be paid yearly on this server yet. Choose Monthly.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Hushdesk cost?
Free costs nothing, Starter is $29 a month, Growth $99 and Scale $299. Paying yearly gives two months free, so Starter works out at $24.17 a month, Growth $82.50 and Scale $249.17. Prices are in US dollars, taxes may apply, and every plan has unlimited seats.
Does Hushdesk charge per agent?
No. Every plan, Free included, has unlimited seats, so you can invite part-time staff, managers and agencies at no extra cost. Plans differ by how many conversations and AI answers they include each month, not by the number of people who sign in.
What is the difference between Free and Starter?
Starter raises the monthly limits from 200 to 1,000 conversations and from 25 to 150 AI answers. It also includes rules, SLAs and auto-assignment, and removes the Hushdesk branding from your chat widget. Both include email, live chat, Shopify orders, the AI agent and all analytics reports.
Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
The Free plan is the trial: it never expires and needs no card, so you can connect your email, install chat and answer real customers before paying anything. Move to a paid plan from Settings, Plan and billing when you need higher limits or the extra features.
When does my monthly usage reset?
On the first day of each calendar month. The meters on Home and in Settings, Plan and billing then start again from zero for the new month. The heading on the billing page shows which month you are looking at, for example This month · October 2026.
Which plan should a small Shopify store choose?
Start on Free and watch the meters for a month. If you go past about 160 conversations, which is 80 percent of Free, Starter fits most part-time teams. Growth suits busy stores, and Scale is for high volume and agencies. You can change plan at any time.
