Request an integration or vote for an app

Vote for apps marked Soon, request an app that is not listed, or ask for a custom integration for your store, then follow its status in Settings, Apps.

The app directory lists what stores ask for most. When something is missing, tell us. Votes and requests decide what gets built next, and custom integrations for your store get a reply from our team.

Before you start

  • Who can do this: agents, admins and owners. Viewers cannot vote or send requests.
  • Plan: all plans.
  • Time: a minute to vote, five minutes for a detailed request.

Step by step

Vote for an app marked Soon

  1. Open Settings > Apps and press the app, for example Klaviyo.
  2. Read "Not built yet." and the number of requests from your team so far.
  3. Press I want this. A message confirms Vote counted.
  4. Optional: press Tell us how you’d use it to open the request form.

Request something not listed

  1. Search for it. Press Can’t find your app? (or "Can’t find …?" with your search).
  2. In Request an integration, pick Add an app (a public app every store could connect) or Custom integration (your ERP, warehouse or own API).
  3. Fill in App name or System or tool, and Website (optional).
  4. Under What should it do?, tick Show its data in tickets, Take actions from the inbox, Send ticket events to it, Answer its messages in the inbox or Import data from it.
  5. Describe How would your team use it?
  6. For custom requests, add Link to its API docs (optional).
  7. Choose How important is it?: Nice to have, Important or Blocking us.
  8. Add Email for our reply (optional) and press Send request.

What happens next

A message says Request sent and "You can follow it under “Your integration requests”." Each request shows its status:

Status Meaning
Received We have it
Planned It is on the roadmap
Building Work has started
Live You can connect it
Not planned We decided not to build it

Tips

  • A good description beats a vote: say what your team would click, and how often.
  • While you wait, Webhooks with Zapier, Make or n8n often covers the need. See Send ticket events with webhooks.
  • Every Soon app has a status page with a workaround, for example Klaviyo.

Troubleshooting

"Viewers cannot send requests"

Ask an admin for the agent role.

"That is a lot of requests in an hour. Try again later."

Ten requests were sent in the last hour. Wait and try again.

"Name the app or tool"

The name is empty.

"Tell us a little more (at least a sentence)"

The description needs at least ten characters.

"Enter the app’s website, e.g. https://example.com"

The website must be a full address with https://.

Check the link or email address.

"Enter an email we can reply to"

Check the link or email address.

"Unknown app"

You voted for an app that is not marked Soon. Refresh the page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I vote for an app in Hushdesk?

Open Settings, Apps, find the app marked Soon and press I want this. A message confirms Vote counted, and the button changes to You asked for this. Each person in your workspace can vote once per app, and the sheet shows how many requests your team has made.

Do votes really change what gets built?

Yes. As the directory says, requests decide what we build next. Your votes are recorded with your workspace, and a written request saying how you would use the app helps most, because it tells our team which features matter and how often your team would use them.

What is a custom integration?

Something specific to your store rather than a public app, such as your ERP, warehouse system or your own API. Choose Custom integration in the request form, describe what it should do and add a link to the API docs. Custom requests get a reply from our team.

How do I know if my request is being worked on?

Your requests are listed under Your integration requests in Settings, Apps, each with a status. Received means it has arrived, Planned that it is on the roadmap, Building that work has started, Live that you can connect it, and Not planned if we decided against it.

Can viewers request integrations?

No. Viewers can browse the app directory, but voting and sending requests need the agent role or higher. Ask an admin to change your role if you need to send requests, or ask a teammate to send the request for you.

How many integration requests can I send?

Up to ten in an hour per workspace, which is plenty for normal use. If you hit the limit you see a message asking you to try again later. Votes with I want this are not part of that limit.
