Forward Hostinger or cPanel email to Hushdesk
Create a forwarder in Hostinger hPanel or cPanel so your support address reaches Hushdesk. No confirmation code is needed, so it takes minutes.

On Hostinger and other cPanel-style hosts, forwarding is done with a forwarder: a rule that sends every email for one address on to another. It starts working at once, with no confirmation code. Because your support address is on your own domain, you can also make Hushdesk replies come from it once forwarding works.
Forwarder or mailbox?
| Your support address is… | What to do |
|---|---|
| A full mailbox you sign in to | Create a forwarder; the mailbox keeps its own copy |
| A forward-only address | Add the Hushdesk forwarding address as an extra destination |
| Hosted elsewhere (Google, Microsoft) | Use that provider's guide instead |
Before you start
- Who can do this: a Hushdesk owner or admin, plus access to Hostinger hPanel or cPanel.
- Plan: all plans.
- What you need: your support address added under Settings > Email.
- Time: a few minutes.
Step by step
- In Hushdesk, open your address under Settings > Email, copy the forwarding address and pick Hostinger under Where is this mailbox?.
- Sign in to hPanel and open Emails, then the domain of your support address.
- Open Forwarders and click Create forwarder.
- Forward from your support address to the Hushdesk forwarding address, then create it.
- Back in Hushdesk, press Send a test email.
On cPanel hosts
cPanel works the same way: Email > Forwarders > Add Forwarder. Enter the support address and the Hushdesk forwarding address as the destination, then save.
What happens next
The forwarder works immediately. When the test comes back, step 3 says Forwarding works. New customer emails arrive in Hushdesk as tickets.
Your domain is your own, so you can also make replies come from your support address. Press Show my DNS records in step 4 and add the records in your DNS zone. See Send replies from your own domain.
Tips
- If the support address is a full mailbox, its copy stays there too. That is a handy backup.
- Avoid forwarding loops: do not also forward the Hushdesk forwarding address back to your support address.
- If your domain's DNS is managed somewhere else, such as Cloudflare, add the DNS records there rather than in hPanel.
Troubleshooting
The test does not come back
Check the forwarder's destination for typos. Some hosts also need a few minutes before a new forwarder is active. See Troubleshoot email forwarding.
"Only owners and admins can change email settings"
Ask an owner or admin to finish the Hushdesk part of the setup.
Frequently asked questions
How do I forward Hostinger email to Hushdesk?
Sign in to hPanel, open Emails and pick the domain of your support address. Open Forwarders, click Create forwarder, forward from your support address to your Hushdesk forwarding address and create it. Then send a test from the Hushdesk setup page to check that it works.
How do I forward cPanel email to Hushdesk?
cPanel hosts work the same way as Hostinger. Open Email, then Forwarders, then Add Forwarder. Enter your support address as the address to forward and your Hushdesk forwarding address as the destination, save, and send a test from the Hushdesk setup page.
Does a Hostinger forwarder keep a copy of the email?
A forwarder sends the email on to Hushdesk. Whether a copy also stays in the mailbox depends on whether the address is a full mailbox or a forward-only address. If it is a mailbox, its copy stays there as well, which gives you a backup.
Can replies come from my Hostinger domain?
Yes. Your support address is on your own domain, so you can verify the domain in step four of the setup. Add the two DNS records it shows in hPanel's DNS zone editor, or wherever your domain's DNS is managed, then press Check DNS now.
Does Hostinger send a confirmation code for forwarders?
No. Hostinger and cPanel forwarders start working as soon as you create them, so the Hushdesk page does not wait for a code. Go straight to Send a test email after creating the forwarder, and the step turns green once it arrives.
