On this page

Every Analytics report can be downloaded as a CSV file, with the same date range and filters you are looking at. Use it for board packs, deeper analysis or keeping a monthly record.

Before you start

  • Who can do this: owners and admins.
  • Plan: all plans.
  • What you need: a spreadsheet app such as Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

Step by step

  1. Open the report you need.
  2. Set the date range and filters. See Filter reports and compare periods.
  3. Press Export CSV at the top of the report.
  4. Open the downloaded file in your spreadsheet app.

What happens next

The file downloads with a name that identifies the report. It includes every row, not just the top ones in the chart, and uses the filters from the page.

What each export contains

Report Rows
Overview The headline numbers, then created, replied and closed per hour or day (times in UTC)
Agents One row per agent with every column
Busiest times Customer messages per hour, one column per weekday
Satisfaction Number of answers for each score, 5 down to 1
SLAs Results by policy
Tags, Ticket fields, Macros, Intents Every item with its count, previous-period count and share

Making a monthly report

On the first working day of each month, set the range to Custom range… covering last month, then export Overview, Agents, Satisfaction and Tags. Paste them into one spreadsheet with a tab each. Over a year you build a simple history you can compare without opening Hushdesk.

Tips

  • Export the same report on the same day each month for a clean record.
  • Keep the date range in the file name when you save it, such as "overview-2026-09", so old exports are easy to find.
  • Agents who need numbers can read the reports on screen or ask an owner or admin for an export.
  • Keep exports private; they hold your team's performance data.
  • For an automatic log of every ticket in a sheet, use webhooks with Zapier or Make instead. See Google Sheets status.

Troubleshooting

Frequently asked questions

How do I download a report from Hushdesk?

Open the report, set the date range and filters you want, then press Export CSV at the top of the page. The file downloads straight away with the same filters as the page, so what you see is what you get in the spreadsheet.

Who can export reports?

Owners and admins. Agents and viewers can read every report on screen, but the export answers Only owners and admins can export reports for anyone else. Exported files contain your team's data, so keep them somewhere safe and share them only with people who need them.

Will the CSV open correctly in Excel?

Yes. The file is UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, which tells Excel to read accented names and symbols such as the pound sign correctly. It also opens in Numbers and Google Sheets. Each report has its own columns, matching its table.

Does the CSV include all rows or only the top ones?

All rows. Insight reports such as Tags show the top items in the chart, but the table and the CSV include every row, with its count, the count in the previous period and its share, so you can work out the change in your spreadsheet.

Can I export all my tickets, not just reports?

Reports export summaries and tables. For a full copy of your workspace's data, owners and admins can use Settings, Export data, which is a separate feature with its own options. See the guide on exporting your data for what it includes and how to download it.
